Hi, I’m Chelsea—a licensed cosmetologist specializing in thoughtful healthy-hair care, polished silk presses and flawless textured extensions.
I created Chelsea Jae Hair for women who want more than a beautiful finish. They want to understand their hair, feel considered in the process and leave with care that continues to make sense beyond the appointment.
My work is detailed, but never one-size-fits-all. Your hair history, texture, density, lifestyle and relationship with maintenance all matter. I listen first, assess what is happening now and create a plan that supports both your immediate result and where you want your hair to go.
The Story Behind Crown & Kin
Crown & Kin grew from a simple belief: hair care is personal.
“Crown” represents the hair we carry and the way it shapes how we see ourselves. “Kin” represents the people, traditions, rituals and knowledge that influence how we learn to care for it.
It is the evolving studio world of Chelsea Jae Hair—respecting the foundation while making room for something new.
The experience is warm, private and refined: modern artistry informed by care, culture and the belief that your hair should still feel like your own.
